It's been a little over three months and I am down over 50lbs.  I have gone down 3-4 pant sizes and can now buy pants in misses sizes.  It's nice not to have that "w" behind the size on the tag.  I still get sick every now and then but overall I have no complaints.  I would definetly recommend this surgery. I have more confidence and I absolutely feel healthier.

It's been a little over 2 months from my surgery.  I have lost about 40lbs.  It was very consistant at first but then had over 3 weeks of nothing.  That was very frustrating but I am once again losing.  Still stuggling with what I can eat that wont make me sick.  All in all I am doing well and have no regrets.

Well, yesterday was 2 weeks since my surgery.  Overall I feel better.  I still get very tired very easily.  I have lost 18lbs in 2 weeks!  That is very exciting. 

Finally home from hospital.  Few set backs but overall feeling good.  Im trying to figure out a good menu.  Any ideas anyone?

Ok, so slight set back.  My surgery has been moved back a week.  It is now scheduled for 3/19.  But i guess the plus side of this is that the insurance comapny has authorized it!

   I finally have a syrgery date. It's March 12th!  I can't believe it is so soon.  I have to start my liquid diet on Fe. 26th.  I hope time goes quickly!  Say your prayers for me.

Have an appointment with my surgeon on Wednesday 2/10.  We will set the date for my surgery then!! My surgeon will submeit to my insurance compnay that week also and we should have an approval wtihin 2 weeks (hopefully)!  I am so nervous and excited.  Say your prayers for me!

Had my psych eval today.  Everything went well.  He is recommending me for the surgery.  Last Dr. appt. with PCP is Friday and stomache scope at the end of the month.  Almost there!

This waiting is tough.  This should be my last month of jumping through hoops for the insurance company.  I have my scope and psych eval this month.  I guess the real waiting will start once my doc submits to the insurance company.  He is confident that they will approve without any problems.  I'm still very anxious though.  I just want that magical date!
