Hey everyone I had surgery 2 weeks ago and so far I lost 21 pounds theres really not much to say but wanted to keep u all updated.

January 26,2010

 Today I went back to my weight loss center for another follow up appointment. I lost 2.5 pounds. YAY me, but wished i could have lost more then that. They are sending out the letter to my insurance today, I am kinda excited about that. My surgery wont be until like March or April because I am getting the surgery done with my girlfriend but she has a hole somewhere on her body and it needs to be operated on because there is a infection on that after she has that we are going to go back for another appointment. All this stuff going on I kinda cant wait for the surgery. Is it bad to be excited to have the surgery? Well they told me today because I am having tonsils problem I need to drink protein shakes to get all my protein in.

Well thats all the update I got for now. I will keep you all posted.

I had my second sleep study on December 3,2009. I didn't like it at all with the CPAP. On December 4,2009 I went to my Behavior Modification class. It was interesting and full on information. I found out that Me and my girlfriend could have our surgery either late Feb or early March, thats if all goes good. On January 26,2010 I see Karen Hixon and let see where that takes us. On October 14th,2009 I went back for another Pre-op appointment. I found out the results of my sleep study. Lets say I wasn't too impressed with the results. I found out I have Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea and that I need to go for another sleep study to see how much pressure I need on the CPAP. The only thing that sucks is I cant have it done until December 3,2009. Well other then that they want me to lose more weight and said I was on the right track. I lost 5 1/2 pounds since September 14,2009. November 20,2009 I have to get weighed in and go to some kind of behavior Modification class. After that they said in December I will see them again and if I am doing good I can then get set up with a date. OMG I so can NOT wait. is it weird to be excited for surgery. I cant wait for it to be my turn!!!

Today is the day I had my Sleep study. It was the worst sleep ever. I got maybe 2 hours of sleep if that. Hard to sleep with all those wires in ur hair, face, and your body.
Plus the tech. person kept coming in waking me up to hook up the stuff back up.

September 24th,2009

Today is my birthday. Big 22.LOL Well I had blood work and had to give a urine sample for the rest of my testing. As far as I know I am done with all the testing. My next appointment is October 14th,2009 at 12:30pm with Debbie Zale.

 Today I saw Dr. David merkel. All He did was give my my results from all my testing. The last time my hemagloban A1c level was checked it was 10. something. And today he told me it was 7.6!!! No way! I can't believe it. What in the world am I doing right I sure don't know. I got some bad news though, but i got it taken care of. My vitamin D was very low, the doctor gave me some medicine to get that back up. So far this is what I have had done.

July 22,2009

 Today I had my psych Evaluation. I must say that I was kinda nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I had butterflies in my stomach. I feel like he asked me two million plus questions. Most of the questions was about my childhood. When I told him about my childhood I was told that it seemed like I had a tough childhood. Omg! did that ever scare me. I thought right then and there he was going to tell me I wasn't passed. Then we got to talking about food, did that ever make me hungry. Also asked me stuff about like what surgery I wanted, what foods you could eat after surgery, what are some of complications, what happens if you eat too much? After that he told me I was a good candidate for the surgery and that he would let my weight loss center know. Yay what a relief that was. My next appointment is July 27,2009 and that's for a bunch of testing and to see a dietician. See you all later.

This is the day I went for my first evaluation. I was sooo nervous because I didn't know what to expect. All I know was that it was going to be 1 hour long. OMG! yes 1 whole hour. It actually went pretty well. We talked about what kind of surgery I wanted and what I eat. How much excercise I do. What diets I tried, ect. Well my next appointment is for mental health and that is on July 22,2009. Then on July 27th,2009, I go for my bundle of appointment which is alot of testing, like EKG, chest xray, blood work, ultrasound on my liver(I dont have my gallbladder), dietician, and whatever else there is.

Hey Everyone it's me blabbing about what I been through so far. On May 20th, 2009 I went to my first meeting which was the Information session. I found it very helpful. I have decided which weight loss surgery that I want. I also made my evaluation appointment. That is on June 18th,2009. I am kinda nervous about that. I am hoping I lost weight, but I am not sure what they are going to do. I am sooo depressed right now. So much is going on. So this is what I have been through so far. Will keep you all updated!
