I'm 36 years old and not just over weight I'm considered Very Over Weight BMI - Obese.  That's capital O - B - E -S - E !!!!  I have been on diets and denial.  Ok more denial.  I look at myself and think ok no one can see it.  Then the photo's...OMG...talk about the a shot of truth.  OUCH!  I'm exhausted and just tired of my weight.  So, I've kicked it into high gear.  I've decided that I'm ready to get some help - The LapBand.  I've been logging all my food, no drinking (no biggie), and walking.  So far I've lost 13 pounds while waiting for the physican's office to decide if I'm ready for the Lap Band.  The program requires we go to 2 seminars, take a written test, see psychologist, nutricianist, their pcp with bloodwork and I had a stress test.  So, I have been through a lot thinking about this as an option to help me lose weight.   I've gone to more than two seminars required by the physician, I've watched hours and hours of Youtube...thank gawd for Youtube.  The individuals on there are real and honest - not commercial.  Oh there's those as well but the people I've been following have really been a blessing as I begin to start this new journey.

Anyway...I'm excited...I'm ready....I'm scared....and looking forward to beginning to live again as the pounds begin to drop.  I'm hoping to find support and honesty from those who are on this journey or beginning the journey.
