Not heavy as a child-matter of fact, my nickname was Boney-Morony. Started gaining weight when I moved away from home and have steadily continued to do so to an all time high of 288 pounds. I became concerned when I started to notice some signs and symptoms of diabetes and my blood pressure was higher than ususal.
I am a nurse and know well the negative impact of obesity. I have been thinking about weight loss surgery for about 3 years but did not get seriously interested in it until my health started changing.
Surgery is scheduled for next month.
