"Dr. Anez and his office staff have been great! The office was very quick in submitting all of my documents to my insurance company. My approval came 3 days after submittal.
Dr. Anez was very understanding and honest. At my consultation I was unsure whether to have the band or bypass and he went over what type of procedure and why he thought it was best for me and the weight loss goals I had.
The day of surgery, I was extremly nervous in tears and he was so comforting that everything would be ok and it was. He came to check on me several times in recovery and after I was moved to a floor. After being discharged he immediately returned all my calls afterhours about any urgent questions I had. I've had no complications or issues with my surgery and feel as good as one can expect after having a major surgery(I'm 10 days post-op).
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I think the best part is - considering how much you pay for your co-pays for all your related appointments and for the surgery itself in some cases, after your surgery the office waives all co-pays for the next 3 months which I think is incredibly considerate! I have had such a great experience with Dr. Anez and The Obesity Surgery Center and would definately recommend them to anyone considering weight loss surgery!"
