"I met Dr. Rabkin at the April support meeting in Chicago in April. I was very impressed with him and his post-op patients. He seems down to earth and takes the time to explain your procedure and answer your questions.
I am early in the pre-op phase as my surgery was just scheduled today for August 25th. I knew that I needed a surgeon who has a lot of experience in revisions and Dr. Rabkin does. I've researched my revision from the RNY to DS and am peaceful with my decision.
All I can say is that it is definitely worth the travel from Chicago to San Francisco. The office staff have been so helpful and supportive as well.
Now I am jumping through the loops for getting my surgery approved by my insurance company. If not, I am going to be a self-pay. That's how much I want this revision. "
"Dr. Madry takes the time to answer your questions and is honest in what can be done. He is realistic in his approach with explaining the best possible outcome of the procedures you are interested in. His examinations are very thorough. I am one week post-op as of 12/6/06 and I am extremely pleased with my results. I had a lower body lift and thighplasty. Dr. Madry had a lot of work to do on me and he took the time both in the OR, hospital visits and post-op visit to care for me and answer my questions. On my first post op day, he was the one who got me out of bed, untangled my lines, etc. and checked my dressings. He was always positive and took the time to explain or answer any of my questions. I would not hesitate to have him again for my plastics. I will be having more plastic surgery in 2007 and I want Dr. Madry as my plastic surgeon. I can't say enough about him. I rate him a definite 10 on a scale of 1-10. Update: I had my second round of plastics on 3/12/07. Had a brachioplasty and breast lift with augmentation. The results exceeded my expectations. Dr. Madry is definitely a skilled and artistic plastic surgeon. I will have some face work done this winter 2007 by Dr. Madry. I wouldn't go to any one else. He rates a 10+ in my book! Update 12/11/07: I had a facelift and lipo on 11/24/07. I am very pleased with my results. Dr. Madry outdid himself this round. My face is so nice, small and firm. I am 2 weeks post-op and you would never know it. No bruising."
