Sorry I havent been updating like i planned to but school is whipping my butt. I have 3 classes that are all very demanding of my time on top of my family. But clinicals this far have been cool. I have gotten to go into surgery for a full day and the endo lab (colonoscopy's and EGD's) for a full day. It was awesome. I still have L/D to go this semester.

On to WLS i called Warnocks office friday for my routine report to him and he told me basically I could have whatever I wanted besides steak, roast, or pasta that I could tolerate. So we went and had shrimp. I kept it down but it made my tummy hurt all night. I have tolerated yogurt, beans, potatoes, blended soups, crackers, and ground beef so far but i am getting burned out and want to eat fruits and veggies. I tried some squash, carrots, and green bean mixture i found last night and oh my gosh it was good but a few minutes later i was vomitting it back up. I have been loyal to the vitamins though. that part is easy its just the food and knowing what will work and what wont. I sure dont want to be in clinicals trying new things and getting sick. Besides the vitamins the protein is coming easy for me too. I found isopure drinks (40 g of protein) work well for me the grape and orange are my favorite. I have a EAS choc shake at breakfast (25 grams of protein) then the isopure after lunch and another EAS about 8. totaling 90 grams of protein a day.
