well i decided to have lap band surgery with dr cussatti.It took a year to really think it over.I am seeing dr cussatti sept 12.F r the surgery you have to see soooo many doctors.so here is my journey to pre opt medical clearece for surgery. july 2 cardiac this did not go so good.i a have a leak in one of my vavles in my heart so have to go for a stress test till then not cleared here july 17 sleep apnea at good sam hospitial (cleared for surgery) july 20 gastro doctor for consultation not cleared have to have an endo at end of aug not looking foward to this july24 had my abdominal sono and chest xray (cleared for surgery) aug 1 bariatric consultation cleared but must see him 2 weeks before surgery aug 2 pulmonary consultation ( cleared for surgery) aug 6 nutritional consultation i learned today that i can never could drink from a straw ever again. must see her again aug 10 nutritional again (cleared for surgery) aug 11 bariatric support meeting .Wow did i learn alot of things about this surgery i will deff go to another meeting. well this is it for know. will keep posted on my journey to lap band surgery ok i went to the heart doctor on aug 16 and he cleared me for surgery aug 30 I went for my endo for my surgery.I have erosive esophagitis and an hiatal hernia so it look like i am not having lap band surgery i will be having gastro bypass
