My story is just beginning. I am searching for a way to get the Lap Band surgery. My insurance absolutely will not cover it, so I am looking to pay for it out of my pocket. I am seriously looking to get the procedure done in Mexico....just researching everything right now.
I am 5'6" and I am at my highest weight ever....276 lbs. I never thought I would be this heavy, but here I am...almost crippled because of it. I have found myself in a very vicious cycle.

It has been over a month since I have joined OH. I can honestly say, It has been fabulous. I have become friends with so many that share the same story as I do. I have since decided on the VGS and not the band. I feel that is the best surgery for me. I have picked my surgeon , now all that is left is to wait....wait until my income tax refund comes in and then add that to my 401K Loan I am taking out and then I will be on my way to the "other side!!"
