1/29/09 Great News! - No Leak!!

I went in today for my fluro (dye) and it appears that everything is great and that I do NOT have a leak of any kind.  At my last fill on 12/10, my doctor replaced the 6cc I was supposed to have in my band.  Well, today when he checked all 6cc were there!  He feels that when I had received the last 2 fills, all the saline had not made its way into the band but onto the port.  He discovered today that my port is slightly tilted and that must have been the reason.  When he first tried to insert the needle today, it popped out a couple of times before it stayed.  I asked him what will be done now since I don't have a leak and he said that now that we know the port is tilted, he will be more conscious of what is going in.  Because I still have great restriction, he did fore go the fill today and I'll see him again in 5 weeks. YEAH !!!!
