In April of 2013, I first started this journey. After going thru 6 months of pre-op diet and having everything in order to have surgery, including the surgery date. I backed out thinking I could do this on my own. After losing 140lbs, I gained back almost all of it. So now Im going thru with this again and will follow thru this time. I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and scoliosis and was hoping after losing 140lbs, that my surgeon would do the surgery I need on my back. I was wrong, he wanted me to lose more. So here we are 2 years later and still havent had either surgery. My back gets worse everyday and has limited my ability to move. I need RNY to help me improve my way of life in more ways than one.
