September 6, 2007 @ 7:30am. This is the date that will change my life forever. Since I was a young child, I have always been overweigh. I can look across the pictures of my life and I have always been the big child in school. I have been waiting for the opportunity for my life to change. I have seen my family members go through the gasteric bypass surgery and I have been thinking about following their foot steps. When I look at them and friends, I realized that it would be the right thing for me to do is to go through and change my life also. I am only 30 years old and I want to change my life to be healthy. I currently weigh 364 pounds and I am 6'2.
Due to the gastric bypass being so invesive, I have decided to go through the lapband process. It seems that so much of the past 2 months have been a dream. It has only taken me a month to get approved and on my way. It has been a little difficult getting everything that the insurance company wants... but, I know that the difficulty is worth it.
