I talked to Brika this evening and she is doing well. She said she is experiencing significant gas pain and is having trouble getting down her liquids because nothing tastes good. But all in all she is doing fine and looking forward to good results of her RNY.

Best of the best on your surgery! I hope your recovery goes very well too. Remember to walk when you can, as it really does help. Take good care of yourself, and go get healthy! Hugs,

Brika, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! You've come so far, and lost a tremendous amount of weight on your self-imposed pre-op liquid diet. You will do fabulous at this WLS journey. You have proven to yourself that you CAN do it! I have faith in you. Praying for you that your surgeon uses skilled hands and is quick with your surgery, and that you heal quickly, with little pain.

Sending thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery. For the steady hands of your surgeon and the alertness of his team. For a virtually pain free recovery and a return home with a speedy recovery. Here's to becoming a BIG loser! paula
