Best of Luck on your journey. I am expectiing surgery in late november and wondering what your diet is like in a typical day? I need to supply myself with the type of things I will be able to have.

Hey guys. I am day 5 Post op and doing great. I felt like I was totally home yesterday I took my first walk to the lake if you know Austin, and anything about me, that is where I go for all my troubles. It was so nice to sit on the bank, put my feet into the water, soak up the sunshine and give thanks to God......I am doing well.....getting my liquids in, and doing pretty good on my protein. I am really sick of liquids (broth) and that is getting to be the hardest part. My new friend this pouch I have now, has decided that everything needs to be cold. I use to hate iced cold water, but now that is what I am craving? I don't know. I feel good, and thank all of you for your love, support and prayers. and it is great to be on the loosing side.....

Yea, Vickie is a loser. I just spoke to Beno (DH) and he said she is out and all went well. She is being bought to recovery now. Please help me welcome my angelette to the Loser's Bench. Love you girl, take care and I'll talk to you soon. Hugs ~~ Dana

Vickie: Congratulations on your big day. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery and an uneventful surgery. You are going to feel marvelous when you get down the road a little bit.
