I had my first band put in on 8-14-2009 and had to have it taken out on 8-6-2010, because it got infected and "erosion" set in. I lost 124 pounds (394 LBS - 270 LBS) from 7-31-2009 until I had it removed. Since then I went from 270 lbs. to 377 lbs. Yes I gained almost all of it back. I decided I need the help and decided to start it all over again, so I am scheduled to have a new band put back in on 5-5-2011. I pray this time all gos in my favor and I can keep it in. WISH ME LUCK.

Well I finally had my surgery on August 14th. I went back to the Surgeon on August 25th, and got on the scale and had to look at it 3 times. When I stepped off of the scale I had to ask my wife, "Did that scale say 338 LBS?" Yes that is right I am now down to 338 LBS so that makes it 41 LBS LOST from July31, 2009 thru August 25, 2009. I feel alot better already and keep feeling a little better everyday. I am now less than 100 LBS away from my goal weight of 250 LBS.

WELL THE JOURNEY OF MY NEW LIFE HAS FINALLY BEGAN...I STARTED MY LIQUID DIET LIKE I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO TWO WEEKS BEFORE SURGERY...MY WEIGHT ON THE MORNING OF FRIDAY JULY 31, 2009 WAS 279 LBS...I WENT TO SEE MY SURGEON FOR THE LAST TIME BEFORE SURGERY ON AUGUST 5, 2009 AND GOT AWESOME NEWS...I WEIGHED 265LBS...THATS RIGHT I HAVE LOST 14 POUNDS IN 5 DAYS...I AM SO STOKED AND READY FOR SURGERY ON AUGUST 14, 2009...I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS UPDATED
