Well I am a year out and I am feeling great, I am down about 125 lbs and I am wearing a size 10 pants from a 26 so I would have to say that is a success. I just wanted to let everyone who wants to know how im doing. I started out at 298lbs and now I weigh 175 WOW is all i can say.

2 Weeks Post-op

Well so far everything is going great, I am down 19 pounds since surgery 
(251), 33 pounds since I started loosing weight for the surgery
(284) and 47 pounds from my top weight of (298) 
pounds. I still get really warn out from time to time but I am also one of those people that doesn't like anything to get me down. I have learned to sit down and chill so that my energy can recharge itself. I will say I cant wait until I don't have to worry about sitting down every few minutes to get some energy. It is really nice to eat food but I cant wait until next week when I can eat everything in moderation. My lap scars are disappearing really well and that make me so happy. I have a scar on my neck that probably never ever go away so I am happy that these look so well. 
Surgery is tomorrow!

Oh my gosh the time is finally here and I am scared to death. My mind is bouncing around like that silly little ball. I know all is well and I hope to see you all on the other side of the bench.....
1st Appointment

My first appointment with Dr. Broussard is on July 24th, now I am starting to get excited after seeing how well my mom did with her surgery today. I hope mine goes as smoothly as hers did. Now the fun will begin, here's to a new beginning.
