My surgery date is finally set - March 16th!!!!  Going for pre-surgery tests on Feb 24th - I am so happy and excited and a bit nervous.  But in the long run I know this is the best thing for me.  My knees and my back will be oh so happy.

Just found out yesterday that I have been approved by my insurance for my VSG.  Seeing my doctor next week for final visit and doing pre-op testing same day.  Surgery set for second week of March - can't believe this is actually happening.  So excited!!!

I have done all the required procedures and am just waiting.  When I had my endoscopy done they found numerous polyps (have been taking prylosec for 2 years which I read can cause polyps), had some removed but need to have another on 2/12 to remove the rest.  I feel like I am in limbo, waiting for bariatric doctor to call and let me know if I can still have the sleeve gastrectomy done.  My gastric doctor told me I may not be able to, sooooooo I sit and I wait.  All my paperwork was supposed to be sent to insurance 2 weeks ago, I'm a bit disappointed at this stage.
