My story is no different than anyone else here. I have been a big girl as far back as I can remember. I had the nick name pudgy wudgy – for my CB handle.  My Sister was skinny minny (she is only 11 months older than I am).  When I was in High School my Freshman year and I saw the picture that they took for my ID card I thought I would die……So I went on a starvation diet that lasted till I was about 20.  It worked pretty well for High School, I see the pictures of me I was not FAT I was bigger than the other girls in school however I just had more curves than them.  My sister was always skinny. So no matter what I always felt FAT.  Looking back at some pictures from being a kid – Yes I was bigger than my sister but my goodness she was so skinny. So I guess by the time I was 20 I knew I would never be as thin as my sister (who by the way at 20 had a baby and was 94lbs when she left the hospital after having her son she was back to wearing her size 0 jeans home. Oh yea and she is 5’5). So you can see how I always felt fat around her. My sister never called me fat nor did she ever say anything cruel to me.  At this point I started gaining the weight back that I dropped my freshman year in HS. By the time I married my husband at 26, I was shocked at the weight I had gained. Then I got pregnant 2 months after we were married. I had my first beautiful daughter at 27. She was a big baby too; she weighed in at a whopping 9’12oz.  I did not have gestational diabetes.  I gained so much weight with her and my Dr. was not concerned so why should I be????? Then 2½ years later, along came my sweet little baby girl, who was by the way 3 weeks early and weighed a whopping 9’11oz.  Again I gained more weight and again my Dr. said nothing so I figured all was good. (If you notice I am not telling my weight I am still to embarrassed to even list it – My hat goes out to those who can list it).  My husband never has ever made comments of my weight; he is very supportive in what ever decision I make on any matter. I love him very dearly, and my babies too.  Anyway back to the story of ME =) – My baby girl is now 6 and oldest daughter is 9. Over the years of being mommy, wife, Admin for my boss, Cleaning lady, Chef, dog walker, laundry queen…you get the picture. I have ballooned to my highest weight ever. (Oh yea I forgot to mention all the diets over the years that go on and on and on and on…….) I can loose weight and I have lost weight over the years however I keep finding it again no matter how much I try to loose it. I have been reading everything I can on WLS,  I know several people that have had it done with much success (only 2 out of the 10 have gained about 20 lbs back) My cousin had a surgery that they no longer perform about 15 years ago and he lost 350lbs and has kept it off all these years. I will say this though I think he suffered for 10 years due to complications from the surgery. I love reading everyone’s stories it makes me feel like I am not alone with my own struggles with weight.
