Waiting..

Well this is my first blog..I found this site because I was looking for patient's that had Dr. Loggins as their surgeon. I wanted to hear what people thought of him.
I went to the informational session last month, and I definatly think that he is more in favor of the gastric bypass, did a lot of people run into this? Does he convince people to do the bypass or does he listen to what we want?
I did like him very much though, he seemed very knowledgable and everyone on his team seemed very nice.

I have my first consult on January 9th. I am VERY nervous !! I am afraid that I have been getting so excited for this possible surgery and I might find out that it really isn't a possiblity. Does anyone have any tips to make the actual surgery date happen any faster or is more than likely going to be the three to six months?

I am looking for any and all information, any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

Oh..how long should I plan on being out of work..I work in alone and have to do some lifting and moving of patients
