Hello! Name is Lisa and my journey REALLY begins today. I was just approved by my Insurance for surgery!!! I'm SO excited, I can't hardly stand it. I have been heavy most of my life. I've tried all the usual diet methods...none of which worked needless to say! I am a skinny girl trapped in a fat girls body! The same holds true for most of my friends. This is why 4 of us are having the surgery around the same time. I was the last one to get approved.
I opted for lapband because it was referred by my very best friends doctor. She and I went to a seminar and were instantly sold! We went with the Weight Loss Institute of AZ.
I'm REALLY looking forward to getting a healthy lifestyle. I want to feel good first and foremost! I want my son to look at me and be proud of what I've done. I also want to be able to do more things with him. I'm afraid my tired, lazy butt has rubbed off on him. It just always seemed easier to sit around and watch TV. I want energy!
Anyway, that's the beginning of my story.............
