Five months later....and I am down 58 lbs....I have a little ways to go to goal...but not far.  Feeling great !!!  So glad I was approved for this surgery.  It has made a big difference in my life, the most important of which is my health.  It is fun to shop in the normal size clothes...and I like being able to bend over to put my socks and shoes on...and crossing my legs....little things like that.  Life is good !!

Two months out, and I am doing great !!  I am now 42 lbs lighter than my beginning weight, and have dropped 4 sizes in clothing !!!  My health has improved so much that I have gone off several of my medications and cut in half on the remainder...so I am feeling better than I have felt in years !!  My ambition has returned after several years of absence  and I am working on getting my house back in shape and see some organization returning!!  WLS is indeed the best choice I ever could have made for my life and health.  Have some problems with getting enough fluid in...that has been a life long problem of mine...but after one hospital trip to hydrate, I am really making an effort and so far am managing to keep myself out of another trip to the hospital.    All in all, I am very happy with my progress....

Again, thank you to everyone who shared their diabetic results with me after MLS...you are all an inspiration to me, and I now feel that I have made the right choice to persue the WLS.  I will visit this site faithfully for the support through my journey through and after WLS.  Thanks again.
