I got my test results back yesterday and all was fine.  Better than fine acutally I was down another 7.1 lbs.  I had a great talk with Lise and I can honestly say I have NO reservations at all anymore.....as they say..I'm good to go

It’s been a while since I have posted. I guess I just got away from it for a bit.  I found that I needed a bit of a break from the message boards and such since I had been totally fixated and obsessed with my surgery.  I just got to the point where I just had to stop thinking about it for a while.  I lived breathed and slept my surgery, thinking of scenarios and what ifs and the like.  This process can totally take over ones entire being.

 

 

That being said--- I am now little over a week away from my surgery, and I am now obsessed again.  I signed my consent forms for the surgery on Nov 3/06…and had a tentative surgery date (from Nathlie at Dr. Bs office) for Dec 5^th.  I ended up having to wait till Jan 30 2007 for my date.  I went down to Moncton on Jan 9^th for my pre-op testing.  I had blood work, chest X-ray and ECG done, there I also found out that I had high blood pressure and have since gone on Dioval to reduce that.  I go back to Moncton on the 23 for my test results and to ask any more questions I have. 

 

 

I have had a bad weekend worrying and fretting over the surgery and my choices.  I think now that since I have talked to quite a few people I am on the right track and I just have to trust that I am doing the right thing.  I will talk to Lise more about my concerns on Tuesday when I see her for my test results. 

 

 

So for now I think I will sign off for a while..
