9/2007 Surgery went great. Adjustmenting to eating different has gone well.
Surgery is scheduled for 8/8/2007! I have to lose 20lbs before surgery, insurance requirements. I have yet to go thru all the neccessary evaluations yet.

Went to my informational seminar. It was very interesting, learned a lot and met the Dr. that will perform the surgery. I have to fill out an application now and wait for them to contact me to see if I'm approved.

Received word that I have been completely approved. I have Blue Cross of Ca. and the will cover the whole procedure. Thank goodness!! I'm so excited!!!

Have received the dates of my pre-op appoinments. Each appoinment is to be 4-5 hours long. Hope its not long following that they schedule a surgery date.

7/2007 Recieved a call that insurance has been ok'd. Surgery date set for 8/8/07.
8/10/07 Thank you all who have sent me messages, they have helped so much. Well I'm home and feeling ok. Having some pains from the gas. Dealing with the side effects of the pain medicine seem to be worse than the surgery itself. Seemed a little sick to my stomach today.....not sure why unless it was from not eating enough. I am sleeping a lot so don't get all my 1oz meals down. Well time to go rest again. I'll write more soon.
