Went to my pre-op appointment today!

So I went to my pre-op appointment today. Kind of uneventful but informative. Dr. Pender spoke with my husband about the surgery, I had to do blood work and have a Mersa test done. My neck measured 17" and my waist was 44.5".
I cannot believe that my surgery is next Friday. I am so excited but yet still nervous. I started my liquid diet on Saturday. WOW, is it hard! I hate not being a ble to eat!
I've just about got everything together to take to the hospital. We are probably going to head down on Thursday night so we don't have to drive early Friday morning.
Let's get this train a moving.

So, I spoke with the doctor's office today and I have a surgery date! I have all of these mixed emotions. I am so excited but yet so scared. I can hardly wait and I do realize this is definately a lifestyle change. My surgery date is August 8th, 2008. I have a pre-op appointment on July 29th and start my liquid diet on July 26th! Yummy! I can hardly wait
