Hello everyone, I am a 29 year old mother of three. I have struggled throughout my life with being overweight. After I had my last son almost 6 years ago I started having a lot of headaches and problems. I was diagnosed 5 years ago with a psuedotumor cerebri and papildema. The doctors say that is is from where I am overweight and in my child bearing years. So the doctors advised me to loose weight and it would go away. I have tried every diet you could ever imagine in the last 5 years as well as diet pills too. Nothing seemed to help me loose the weight. So last year I was having even more problems and went to three different speacialist where on the last specialist diagnosed me with MS, the psudedotumor cerebri, papildema, and metabolic syndrome. So they instructed me to consider WLS. So I tried with insurance and was denied twice. I waited a year and tried again and by the Grace of God I was accepted within days of trying. So I am now on my way for the WLS which will be performed September 16, 2009. I only have about a week left and am very anxious and excited. I went yesterday and had all the pre-op test run for the surgery. I am going to be having surgery at Clarian North in Carmel, Indiana.
