I have decided to join this website to keep track of my journey and to have access to support and friends. There are only 3 people that know of my surgery, that is why the faces in my photos will always be blurred out.

I have always been big, even as a child. Looking back at photos now, I realize something interesting...I wasnt actually as big as I thought I was. I believed i was HUGE and becasue of that, never cared about my looks. At my max weight of 295lbs, at 29 years old, I decided to look into lap band surgery. I am a single mother of an 8 year old boy, and I want to be around, and active for him for years to come!
