My name is Carrie. I am 37 years old. I have 3 children. I am in a relationship with an awesome guy.
I have had weight problems all of my life. When I was about 8 years old, I was standing at the kitchen table and I remember hearing someone say, "Look at Carrie she is getting a belly". I will never forget that. I was made fun of in school. I was the chubby girl. This continued thru my teens and into adult hood. It has effected my self image aswell as my esteem.
My highest weight was 276 I was 28 years old. I am now 212 lbs. I was 222 lbs when I started the weight wise thing.
There was a point in my life after 28 years old, that I lost 120 lbs. I weighed 142. It took me 2 years to lose that weight and a lot of hard work. I have gained 80 lbs of that back. I think that is the main reason I have made the decission to do the surgery.
