Well Lets see “My Story.” Well I’ll start by explaining how I got in this position. I was born 22 years ago in the cheese steak capitol of the world Philadelphia. My parents divorced when I was 2. Due to this divorce I was left with my father who seemed to be stuck between bachelor and parent. The one bachelor aspect my father acquired was ordering take-out 4 nights out of the seven. Unfortunately throughout my life I was helpless to this fact and was never taught proper eating habits. I’m not saying it was entirely my father’s fault I know there were times when I was a teen that I was frivolous in my eating habits. This surgery is meant to give me another chance to eat right and stay healthy. I know cosmetics isn’t a reason for this surgery. I was never given a fist chance to succeed health wise I need a chance such as this so I can live a long life, grow old with my wife, and walk my daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. At first I was hesitant to do the surgery since I have heard that major surgery takes 5 years off your expectancy but recently I have realized that if I continue on the path that I’m on that my life expectancy will be much less than 5 years. I have weighed the pro’s and con’s and they seem to almost balance each other out but I can’t consciously continue that life that I have created so far. I am excited about the surgery and eager to prove all the persons Against me wrong.
