Well, I am really unsure where to begin, but since this is my story I guess thatI begin at the beginning... I have always struggled with my weight. I remember I was always the FAT cousin, or that fat kid in school. I did have a real hard time with a specific teacher in High School when I was in NJROTC and that man kicked me out of the class because he told me that the Navy would not accept fat people in there and he was not keeping me in his class anymore, that was a time in my life that really hurt. I remember growing up constantly hearing my father say if you keep this up you are going to be as fat as your aunt oneday. You know I really loved my aunt and that made me more angry that he spoke against her than it specifically hurt me, except now it is something I will never forget him saying to me. But you know I grew to look over all the negative comments and accept myself the way I am...

I met my husband in 1995, he was 23 at the time and I had just turned 17, he was in a gospel group at the time and I was still in school. He proposed to me after 5 months and we were married on May 25, 1996, he jokes about how I was so young my mama still had to sign for me and he tells our friends I still had similac on my breath when he got me out of the sand box...LOL!! I was still very heavy when we married I weighed 290 pounds.  I got pregnant almost immediately after we were married.  I had a horrible pregnancy and lost down to around 270 lbs.  I had a 8lb 5 oz beautiful baby girl on April 5, 1997. Well I got pregnant again about 3 months later and this time I had a wonderful pregnancy but unfortunately gained up to 315 pounds the biggest I had ever been and my doctor made a very heartless comment to me that if I kept gaining I would be the size of a barn, that hurt me a lot. But the outcome was beautiful I had my 2nd baby girl on May 14, 1998 only 13 months after our first one, she weighed 7 pounds even .  On Dec. 31, 1998 I went in the hospital to have a simple gall bladder surgery, and almost died because the doctor poked a bile duct and sewed me back, well I ended up having and appendectomy and stayed in the hospital for a while. I am much better now I just have scars and a huge hernia to show for it.  In 1999 we moved to Lakeland, Florida and we lived there for almost 6 1/2 years.  we had a wonderful church family there, but we moved back to SC about 4 years ago because my Father In Law was given less than a year to live, and he died 10 months later. We started pastoring Southside Family Worship Center in Greenwood, SC on March 12, 2006, and we are loving life, we moved about 3 mins from the church about 1 year ago. So now here we are I am about to begin this wonderful journey with the support of all of my friends and family. I would also like to say that we have also been trying for about 8 years to have another baby, and I am praying that this will help me to do that within 2 years.  But anyway that is enough of my boring story but it is my life and I am ready to move on to a better healthier life...
