It's been a journey worth taking! The right time, the right surgeon, the right procedure. The perfect storm! I am really not a blogger as you can see, but I thought it was about time for an update. Thankfully, I have not had any complications what so ever. Only dumped maybe 3 times. I just had my 1 year post op visit. My doctor was so excited for me. My labs were perfect, "you've added 25 years to your life".
I know that I don't excercise like I am supposed to...bad patient.
I took a 14 days cruise 3 most after my surgery and lost 10lbs on the cruise. Next month, just past 1 year post op, I will be taking a 7 day cruise and my goal will be to lose 10 lbs again. This time I believe it will be a little harder to do. I definitely don't want to gain anything.
I am thankful to all my OH friends and supporters and hope all is going as well for you too.
I am also thankful to have a new love in my life. It is fun to sit and watch Big Medicine and find out how it is all done. We grew up together so he knew me when I was very shy....NOT ANYMORE! I had a quiet crush since elementary school. I believe things happen in our lives when they are supposed to and not before.  God is good!

I haven't blogged for a while. Well the waiting and wishing is over. In a little more than 36 hours I'll be undergoing a life changing experience. I am excited beyond measure. I have an abundance of support from family,friends,coworkers and of course my OH family.
I should be an inpatient for about 30 hours. When I get home its back to protein shakes,water,and chewable vitamins and calcium. I have 3 weeks of liquids ahead of me. I won't complain. I'll be thankful that I am not eating a double beef burrito supreme and 3 hard shell tacos from Taco Bell.

I've had all of my testing done and all is good. I have had my CPAP for about a month and I actually don't mind it. I sleep great and don't snore any longer.
I am sooo ready to get this party started. I know it will be hard work, but I am ready for change. 
Everytime the phone rings in my office I hope its the doctor's office with a date. I am usually a very patient person, but this is different. I am read to move on over to the losers bench.
