MONTH APPT (5 WEEKS OUT)

Today I went for my month appt, which is really 5 weeks, and I am doing great. I've lost 40.5 lbs and I moved up to obese instead of extremely  obese. my BMI is 38, and when I lose another 44lbs I will move right in to the overweight group!! HOORAY!!  I am still having a hard time with foods that aren't really soft. I do real well with soups, California roll, pasta, egg salad and tuna. I guess I am going to be one of those people who can't deal with red meat and chicken for a while. I finally am enjoying my water again, I just started to be able to drink plain water last week, a lot of people have that problem. Well, I am off to a good start, and I am so thankful everyday that I decided to take the leap and become a bariatric patient. I have met the nicest, sweetest and most caring people, while I have been on the WLS journey. If anyone asks, I would do it over, and over, and over again.
