I got my first appointment set up today, for Tuesday the 7th. I'm so excitied, but so nervous at the same time. What if my surgeon thinks i'm not a "good canidate". i will be devistated. everyone tells me it is going to be okay. I hope so. anywho, i was looking at the dogs message board and wanted to post some pictures of my babies!

Today I went to my first appointment. There was about 4 of us that they had do the siminar. It was pretty informative, but I already knew most of the stuff they went over. there was one couple there that continued to talk during everything, really annoying. Dr. Juarez is great. Very informative, very kind, and seems pretty up beat. So today was the official start date of the process. I have to have my PCP write a letter, go get my lap work done, and they are going to schedule me a pysh. evaluation, and to see a nutritionist. The offive staff is lovely. It is nice to have someone who has had the surgery work in the office. She was very kind as well. Anywho, i'm off to get my blood work done. Cheers.

Tuesday I went to the psychiatric evaluation, with Dr. Atwal. VERY HORRIBLE! He schelduled me for maybe about a 5 minute appointment, and rushed everything. Once I told him I was in Therapy for about 6 years(on and off) for depression, he automatically assumed I was still depressed. He told me to come back in 3-4 months then have the surgery.Today I paid for the psychiatric evaluation($150), with Dr. Ziyar. He said I was a very good canidate. Very nice Dr. easy to talk to, took his time with me and let me answer and explain any questions he asked. It was awesome! I called Dr. Juarez' office and now all I have to do is a Nutritional Evaluation. Bad thing is it is at a hospital, and I have to wait till they call me to schedule it. I have a feeling that is going to take forever! Till next time!!

Yay! I'm offically a loser now.  Surgery went well, even tho they had to keep me in recovery for about 2 hours, because I was nauseas. I was in the hospital for 2 nights. I was up and walking within about 5 hours or so, then just slept and slept. So umm I haven't pooped yet, I know you didn't really want to know, but when you go from at least once a day to nothing for about 4 days, theres an issue. But then again, theres nothing for me get out I guess. Have fun Cheers!

Wow!! I went to my first post op appointment. I have lost 27 lbs in 10 days!! Holy COW! I don't have a scale because I don't want to be one of those people who weigh themselves everyday and always complain about only loosing a pound or something like that. Screw that. I only get weighed at the Dr's Office.
Cheers all!

I am doing great with my weight loss, I have lost 120 LBS now in 7 months. I only have about 15 LBS to go to hit my goal weight. Which would be 135. I've started noticing the skin issues, I have rashes all over my belly, around my belly button--- It is gross. I have rashes on the back side of my arm pits, from the skin rubbing together. My boobs are saggy and deflated.

BUT OVER ALL> I LOVE MY RNY!

Cheers All!
