Made one of my goals! Under 200 lbs!!!!

My WOW!...This weekend went shopping with my Mom. I have a job interview and needed something to wear. I was able to fit in size 14 pants and a xl shirt! I shopped in non plus sized clothes! That felt so good!

Started pureed foods today. Eggs for breakfast and cottage cheese for lunch. Much better than protein powder!

Ok new day new issue! I can't stand the protein today! I tried to eat my usual 1/4 c cream of wheat with a scoop of unflavored protein... UGH! I thought I was going to HURL! Tried it again with some splenda-NO GO. OH! I was doing so well! I am sipping my cinnamon latte with 30g protein(not loving it). But unflavored protein in all my soup and cereal was my trick to getting more than enough protein in.

What a difference a day makes! I woke up this morning feeling GOOD! Yep thats right good! Yesterday was one week since surgery and my tummy was still sore.  TODAY....I woke up rolled out of bed no pulling or hurting stitches!!!! It was amazing. I love it! Not to mention that I am losing weight!!!! I don't know if it is just healing (I was kind of doing more than I should) or that I got more than enough water and protein yesterday plus all my vitamins, probably both. But it feels great to feel good!

I was about 230# when I was weighed before surgery. When I got home I was 235! I have now went back down to 230. They really pumped the fluids into me. My fingers were huge! I looked puffy every where.

It is hard to get all the fluids in.... 1 oz. every 15 min. I have to sit with med cups to measure it out to remember to drink enough and watching the clock.

Surgery went well. I am home and trying to sip sip sip!

Surgery is set for 7-15-10. Wow can't believe it! So many things going through my head.
