Here we are 22 months post op now and I'm almost 20 dress sizes smaller. I've also moved my goal weight three times now. First it was 150lbs then 140lbs now it's 135lbs and it may move again soon to 130lbs so I can say I lost 100 pounds. The struggle is real here folks. I didn't exactly get a whole lot of guidance beyond a few great friends who were going through the same things as I and when my weight loss would stall out it would stall out for a long time and I even regained 10lbs at one point. So I learned that tracking is very important to do and I learned that I was eating too many times a day. Remember the rhyme "little by little, a little becomes a lot" Nothing is more true after wls. After all 3oz of chicken and a bite of veggies and your stuffed to the raftures but about 45 mins later that cheesecake bite is calling your name and it's so small it's not going to make you sick. In fact very little does make you sick over that two year mark.

I think everyone needs to find out a dietary plan that works for them and it really does start with the cart. If it doesn't make it in the cart, it can't end up in your mouth.

I've actually been dabbling in intermittent fasting and I lost all my regain the first month and I lost 5 lbs during the month of May using a 18:6 fasting window. It works for me and I still track my calories and I really need a more simple vitamin regimen. All those chewable vitamins and caps are a bit calorie dense. 10 calories here 60 calories there wait your not done you got 100 calories more worth of vitamins yet to take, all before you one bite of food and it all counts when your looking to stay in a calories deficit with your BMR.

I still have room to improve when it comes to exercise. I try too but my job is sedentary. I definitely could do more. When I do exercise I do push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and a few other things. I still walk but not as often as I should.

Relationships are tricky post op and people who start off as your support system may not stay supportive. After all how many selfies do you need? I say a lot because it's hard to wrap your head around losing a great deal of weight and you can walk around thinking your still chubby even if you can wear single digit sizes and your considering donating your size 8-10's because they are way too big.
