I'm starting new today!

I have been doing terribly lately.  I have been eating anything and everything...and carbs galore!  I can't believe I haven't been in digestive misery--I so deserve it.  I decided last night that I am going to recommit to this lifestyle change that I chose when I decided to have the duodenal switch.

I am starting a journal.  I am keeping track of my water intake (goal is at least 6 glasses per day--I was drinking maybe 3 to 4), vitamins 3 times a day (I was taking them once and sometimes twice a day), using treadmill daily (I only used it 3 times in the last month!), protein drinks twice a day (I only drank one in the last 2 weeks!), and carbs under 50 per day (these have been out of control--maybe 200 per day?!)

I have gained 2.6 pounds in the last month since going hog crazy with carbs.  That may not be a huge amount, but I'm going to nip it in the bud right now.  I'm only 6-1/2 months' out and should be losing, not gaining.

So far I've had a great day!  I have already drank 4 glasses of water, took my morning vitamins, exercised, and drank a protein drink! :)  I'm going to go make bacon and eggs now as I'm getting hungry.  I can do this!

I'm going to Florida on November 22 and hope to lose the weight I've regained plus 10 pounds by then.  Hopefully I'll be able to do this...but if not, I hope I'm at least moving in the right direction!
