One Year Out...

Dec 21, 2009

OK OK I'm late but here lol..... Dec 3rd marked my one year surgiversary and I am blessed to be done 140lbs......  My Doc never really set a concrete goal by mu personal goal was 160-170.  I started at 341 and plan to be down another 20lbs by the beginning of Feb.  I feel so good and to be honest look so much healthier.  I am enjoying my family more.  My daughter jokes that I walk to fast she has to run to keep up with me.  Me and my husband are still going strong.  So many people on OH thought our marriage would fall apart because people assumed one of us would change after WLS.  Our relationship was built on a stronger foundation than vanity eleven years ago we accepted one another unconditionally.  I am very proud of the support my family have given me.  I am so blessed and sometimes still can't believe I even had surgery.  It has allowed me to be more expressive and to really chase after my dreams.  I returned to school to obtain my Nursing Degree and it feels good to be in control.  I have weak moments when it comes to food but they are just moments trust that in a year I will be where I need to be.  I am constantly challenging myself which keeps me motivated.  Getting a chance to speak to people on this board is awesome knowing that there are people out there that really get it is priceless. Being that 2010 is approaching I will admit it feels really good to be ahead of the weight loss game.  I am enjoying life I could not imagine being stuck in the body I was last year..... So for the people (hey big sis) that is wondering where my pic is I will post one 2night had some issues last night choosing a photo...till next time  PEACE lol
