My Prayers of Positive Affirmations

INTRO:
My name is Christine Gibson and today is Sunday, October 16, 2011. It a grey sort of day outside in the 50s and it is not much warmer in my house because I keep the temperature low; but, I do bundle up. I’m putting together a revision of my Positive Affirmations I initially put together back in January of 2009, posting at www.ObesityHelp.com/Member/ChristineGibson, as well as making my own personal tape recording of My Prayers of Positive Affirmations.
A lot of changes have transpired since then. I have had a total hip replacement surgery; in fact I’ve a lot of illnesses and challenges in the last 4 years of which I am now beginning to recover from. A portion of my Prayers of Positive Affirmations addresses this fact, and I quote:
Up until now, I have been slowly recuperating from total hip replacement surgery of my left hip; but I am getting better and better every day in every way. Up until now, I have been greatly challenged to even get out of bed and have a normal day of activities without overwhelming pain fatigue; but, I am getting better and better every day in every way. My exercise level is improving. My energy level is improving. Up until now, I abruptly awake in the middle of the night with pain radiating from my left hip joint causing me to toss to and fro in my bed, thrashing it. Up until now, I have only gotten relief by getting up taking strong narcotic pain medication to dull the horrible aching pains and my thrashing legs. But, I am getting better and better every day in every way. I visualize myself no longer needing any narcotic pain medication to dull the pain in my surgical site. My left hip surgical site is healed! I easily visualize this healing! I visualize myself walking effortlessly around my neighborhood, up and down hills, relying only occasionally on my cane, and soon, not requiring the cane at all! In fact, I easily visualize myself walking effortlessly and with great ease: walking normally. I walk erectly, with great spring in my step, and greet everyone with a smile.
These positive affirmations have truthfully been so helpful to me.
I also make absolutely no apology for my faith. My faith is so crucially important to me that it is part of my positive affirmations. I play my tape of these positive affirmations while riding in my car or while I am in my home, joining my own voice speaking forth these incredible and very personal Prayers of Positive Affirmations. I put the tape of My Prayers of Positive Affirmations on my tape player so they can play all the time in my own home, challenging me each time to hold onto the truths I speak forth for me each and every day and in each and every way, becoming the very best I can be!
My Prayers of Positive Affirmations:
God did not give me a spirit of timidity — of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear — but He has given me a Spirit of Power and of Love and of a Calm and Well-Balanced Mind and Discipline and Self-Control.2 Timothy 1:7 Titus 2:1
First of all then each day, I pray for kings and all those who are in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases You, God our Savior, Who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth: There is only one God, and only one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus! 1 Timothy 2:1-6
Peace and joy and contentment abide in me transforming everything I think and say, do, and pray for because I am an adopted child of Abba, Father, fully loved and fully protected by my Father in Heaven, Abba, Father, doing His Will, His Perfect Will in everything I think, say, do and pray for Today.
I absorb the tranquility that is a part of me as I contemplate what it means to be a child of God and to do the Perfect Will of Abba, Father, in everything I think, say, do and pray for. I PRAISE You and I thank You Abba, Father: I arise and shine, for Your Light is upon me.
I walk in the absolute power of my faith refusing any and all double-mindedness and negativity. I walk in the Power and Authority of my Almighty I AM speaking forth Your Will my Almighty I AM in everything I think, say, do, and pray forth this day. I walk in the Power and Authority of the Glory of the Lord! Isaiah 60:1
My dear Holy Spirit teaches me all things for I do not need anyone but my dear Holy Spirit to teach me. Romans 14:16 I am an adopted daughter of God —Abba, Father, Romans 8:14 sister to Your Son Who is my Savior, my Redeemer, and my brother, enabling me to be Born Again and Spirit-filled 10-27-1989. John 3:3-8 I have unfathomable determination to move forward and to keep pressing in doing the Perfect Will of my Father in Heaven, Abba, Father. IWOK 3-24-04; Psalm 24
No harm shall come to me for You, my Almighty I AM, No harm shall come to me. I PRAISE You and I thank You, the Shield of the Almighty I AM surrounds me. Angels stand guard around me, shattering the bullets and arrows that come in my direction, turning them back on Thine enemies, piercing them to get right with the Lord before it is too late for them!
I maintain emotional and spiritual stability and balance at all times -- even in these times of transition. The Almighty I AM enables me to be diligent for surely the plans of the diligent lead to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely leads to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 Peace and joy and contentment are forever within my breast.
I thank Abba, Father, I have another day to praise Your Name, for keeping me safe as I slept during the night, secure in the knowledge the Lord is always with me, protecting me from Mine enemies, and providing for me one more day to pray for all those lost and unsaved that they might come to our Father, Abba, Father, through accepting His Son, Whom I call ‘my Lord, Jesus!’ My head is anointed with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy follows me all the days of my life: I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. As an adopted child, I am living an Acceptable Day to the Lord– an Acceptable Day to You Abba, Father -- according to Your Wordin Isaiah 58:7. I thank You, I approach everything I do reflecting Your Goodness, Your Grace, Your Mercy, Your Justice, Your Kindness, and especially, Your Wisdom and Your Love in every situation I face Today and towards all those I meet Today. Not my will, but Thine be done, Abba, Father.
My Almighty I AM opened up my mind to understand and speak forth The Word of God with freedom and confidence because I am in right standing with the Lord. Luke 24:35 Acts 1:2-4 I live by the Spirit and walk by the Spirit, walking in line and controlled by my dear Holy Spirit evidencing the Fruits of the Spirit: love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, (meekness, humility), gentleness, and self-control (self-restraint, and continence). Against such things there can be no law. Abba, Father, my Father, I PRAISE You and I thank You that I AM WHO I AM AND WHAT I AM AND I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE Exodus 3:14 is shepherding me with Peace and Prosperity, Comfort and Joy, always with and surrounding me. I PRAISE You and I thank You, that I do have real faith that AM WHO I AM AND WHAT I AM AND I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE Exodus 3:14 is always with me. I PRAISE You and I thank You that I AM WHO I AM AND WHAT I AM AND I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE Exodus 3:14 comforts and shelters me daily from all the spirits of selfishness and insecurities — which power up and feed spirits manifesting as the torments and deceits of war. Through Your Grace, in the Name of my Lord, Jesus, Who is the Christ, I do stay the course regardless of any obstacles or criticisms. No matter how hard this is, and this is extremely hard, Abba, Father, I do set my mind to be like flint to obey You. Isaiah 50:7 I do stay the course no matter the obstacles, no matter the criticisms, and no matter the hardships.
Your Shield surrounds me. I am OK. I am not sad. Good springs forth from everything I think, say, do and pray forth. In Your Name, my Lord, Jesus, I rebuke cruel human frailties of the human nature – selfishness and insecurities – which power up and feed spirits manifesting as the torment and deceits of war. I shake them up with Your Peace, Your Contentment, Your Bounty, Your Glory. Amen and Amen. So be it and so it is, now and forever more! Selah! Pause, and calmly think of that!
I PRAISE You and I thank You, my Almighty I AM, You proclaim to me, I am most Beloved of You! Romans 9:25; IWOK 12-02-10 12:37 p.m. With complete clarity and understanding, Scripture text and placement are present in my mind. My Almighty I AM grants me complete and total recall of Your Scriptures at any time so that no one can have any doubt Who I serve. I am most beloved of You. I have fully stepped into my place and space in Your Word! IWOK 11-20-10 ; Romans 9:25
The rest You speak of for me is not the rest spoken of in Psalm 4:8. It is the rest spoken of in Deuteronomy 33:12. At nighttime, in peace, confident of Your Word in Psalm 4:8 I both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust. I rest secure in You, and sleep through the Power and Authority of the Living God – Your Power, Your Wisdom, Your Goodness, Your Authority. You tell me, Psalm 4:8 is good for securing a good night’s sleep; but, I rest secure in You just like Benjamin did, for You cover me all the day long and You rest between my shoulders. Deuteronomy 33:12; IWOK 12-02-10 12:37 p.m. Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You. Psalm 139:12
For as the hart pants and longs for the water brooks, so I pant and long for You, O God. I fear not: You, my Lord God — the Word of God — are with me in everything I do, think, say, and pray forth. You command Your Loving-Kindness in the day time and in the night Your Song is with me – a prayer to the God of my life. Amen and Amen. Psalm 41:13 Be exalted O God, above the heavens, and Your Glory be over all the earth.Psalm 108:5 For as the deer pants and longs for the water brooks, so I pant and long for You, O God! The Spirit of God rests upon me and fills me with Your presence and gives me the determination to go forward. I am known as an Overcomer, for I always overcome whatever life’s circumstances throw at me. I am aligned with Abba, Father’s Kingdom purpose and destiny. As a child of God I can and do move mountains. I can cast them from here to there in Jesus’ Name. I do this with expectant and full faith in the Word of God. Daily I become more aware of the benefits of My Life Vision positive affirmations. The fruits of these positive affirmations grow stronger and stronger, and become more effective in the proper time and in the proper order. Some of these positive affirmations become effective immediately. Others remain in my subconscious for a period of time gathering strength and power, emerging when the time is right, much like a plant which completes its growth and development cycle and which pushes itself forth from the soil and blossoms in the full light of day. Beneath the bosom of the soil, these plants develop and become stronger and stronger. My Life Vision positive affirmations change me from deep within my subconscious before the impact is seen on the surface of my life.
Even with the very first playing of this tape I am drawn to play it over and over again. Each and every time I play this tape I gain additional benefits of health, energy, vitality, peace of mind, love, joy, acceptance, humor, and self-confidence. This playing of this tape and my listening to it strengthens my determination, strengthens my desire and will-power, increases my self-control, and enables me to live and be authentic and true to my own needs, values, and convictions as I strive to always do the Perfect Will of Abba, Father, as a Servant of our Lord, Jesus!
I choose to eat for the health and integrity of my mind, body, soul, and spirit. I have a strong, healthy, and attractive body. Food is in its proper place: food provides nourishment for my mind, body, soul, and spirit. I deal with things when they happen without emotional eating. I am free from compulsivity and I trust myself! I know my values and live by them. I design my life to be my authentic self. I respond more and more to the energies and the joys of living.
I do not eat rich foods, fattening foods, sweet foods and drinks, or white stuff such as potatoes, bread, or rice. These foods do not appeal to me. Their smell is offensive to me. All the cells of my body and brain are daily bathed in good and proper nourishment.

I walk erectly, with great spring in my step, and greet everyone with a smile. My current goals and objectives motivate me, so I don’t procrastinate. My house and garage is clean and orderly and my landscaped yard is well-maintained!
I listen – I truly listen to others! I passionately listen to others and I listen with only the intention to understand another person. What motivates them? What are they about? What do they want to do? How do they want to do it? What’s interesting to them? What’s exciting to them?
Life is an adventure. I am designing and creating the life I want. What I say impacts others positively and they treat me with great respect and as a good neighbor. What I think, say, do and pray for brings out the brilliance in others. I grow from the inside out. I am comfortable and confident in my own skin. I prosper and am successful. I have a quiet knowing that I am capable to deal with life. I am fully alive. I am independent and interdependent. I am a true friend to my friends.
There is within me enough time and energy, enough wisdom and money to accomplish all the desires that I have in my life. Daily, my days are filled with mental and physical pleasures as I give out love and receive love in abundance in return. I do not let the sun go down without forgiving anyone who has trespassed against me and I ask Abba, Father to forgive them as well and to bless them, abundantly bless them with His Mercy and His Grace.
I rejoice that I maintain a balance in my values, actions, and circumstances. There’s a lot of potential in my life. I’ve got plenty of opportunity for change, to grow, and flourish. I choose to direct my life in constructive channels. I accept complete responsibility for my own well-being – for everything I think, say, do, and pray for. My current goals and objectives really motivate me. I thirst to always do the Perfect Will of Abba, Father, as He directs me, which means I take care of my mind, body, soul, and spirit right now! This moment! This very moment! I move forward with passion and energy. I am authentic – true to my own needs, values, and convictions. I like, I accept and I love myself totally and unconditionally.
I totally, thoroughly, and completely forgive me of the wrongs I have done against me – my body, mind, soul, and spirit -- throughout my lifetime. I ask Abba, Father, to accept my forgiveness of my actions and inactions against me and my best interest, and to bless me with His Mercy and His Grace.
I regularly think, plan, visualize, and write out all my goals and objectives, from short-term to long range. I easily visualize these goals and objectives so they truly become alive in my mind. I am passionate about writing and planning my goals and objectives making them true. And, this is true. So be it!
I have incredible power over food and have from five to six small meals daily. I log my eating daily in MyFitDay.com personal records. No negative thoughts of eating dominate my mind. A negative thought of eating is eating when I’m not hungry, eating because I am prompted to do so by the advertising of food, eating because it is simply there, eating because I'm sad, eating because I'm bored, or simply grazing – always nibbling.
At all times I concentrate on eating foods which nourish my mind, body, soul, and spirit. These foods are protein first, followed with vegetables – especially the green ones, and fruits. I love and am passionate about juicing my vegetables and fruits so I do get the right amount of vegetables and fruits into my very healthy body. I thrive on eating this way. If there is a food which is not good for me, my subconscious immediately lets me know and I forgo the eating of this food.
I really enjoy the natural taste of foods the best, so I minimize the use of salt. If I do wish salt, I use dulse or kelp powder, or Celtic or gray sea salt. Bleached flour found in white bread, cookies, and cakes doesn’t look good and white bread, cookies, and cakes don’t taste good.
This interest in me for the health and strength of my body is daily increasing and I find I have more and more vibrant strength. I find the more I use my body the healthier it becomes. Immediately I notice renewed strength and vitality in my body and my greatly improved metabolism! I thrive on doing regular moderate exercise. I feel so good.
I formulate and regularly execute a moderate exercise program; therefore, I feel better and better every day in every way. I get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep at night. My attitude of dress, my appearance, my general health, my enthusiasm, and my joy for life makes me the best I can be, so vibrant and alive! I am also totally passionate about spending a minimum of 1 hour daily in prayers as I’ve been doing for what seems like forever, ever conscious to listen to the small voice within me, writing down what I hear from Abba, Father, or my Lord, Jesus and doing what the Lord wants me to do for the glory of Abba, Father.
Every organ of my body quickly benefits from this recording of positive affirmations. I am motivated from within to play this tape more often. The more I play this positive affirmation tape, the more effective and powerful become these positive affirmations. Embracing these positive affirmations changes me to be the best I can be. I’m completely calm and at peace in everything I think, say, do, and pray for each and every day and each and every moment of time.
My health is improving daily so much so that if any organ or function of my body is not working as it should, I command it to line up with the Word of God. Through the Grace of Abba, Father, and at His direction, in the Name of the Lord, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Who is the Son of the Living God, presenting all I AM is, so that You, Abba, Father may be glorified and extolled through Your Son, I command all my organs and systems of my mind, body, soul, and spirit to function in harmony and balance with the Word of God.
I have strong muscles in my abdomen; my legs are sculpted with rippling muscles. I easily and quickly rise from a seated position or from the floor. My legs are strong. My arms pulsate with strength and I easily use this strength as I need to. I stand fully erect. My muscles keep me straight at all times with my stomach tucked, my back muscles rippling with pulsating strength, my head erect, and with a spring in my step. I am fully alive in every way and I love my life! Selah! Pause, and calmly think of that! I PRAISE You and I thank You, Abba, Father, I have received what I have prayed for!
I live every moment of every day with full vitality and love. Abba, Father, You provided for me such beauty on this earth and where I live: the flowers, the trees, the grass and the clouds of the sky, the beautiful sunrises and the beautiful sunsets, the snows upon the mountain tops, the rain forest, all the oceans and beds of water and waterfalls, the wonderful rains, the snow, the winds, the birds, the wild animals, the domestic ones, the fish in the seas, the ecosystem which nourishes this earth, and the fresh air. I think what I love best is walking in thick fog when everything is so still and silent around me. Lord, You provide for me such beauty on this earth. This is a beautiful place to be! I enjoy it. I enjoy my life and I love my life. I spread love to all around me. I feel a deep sense of inner energy, strength, well-being, self confidence, peace and calm, and yes, humor, gentle humor. Every day and in every way I am growing calmer and younger and I am more prosperous and have much more wisdom and humor.
I feel motivated each day. My joints are flexible and comfortable. It seems that all negativity and limitations in any form simply run away from the light and dissolve in the day. Truly all parts of my body, brain, mind and emotions are functioning ideally and my body, brain, mind, and emotions are working in complete harmony. My mind is alert and very clear. My vision is bright, and distinct. My hearing is excellent. My sensations of taste and smell function pleasantly and normally in every respect. My brain is vibrant and alive!
My neck is comfortable, flexible and strong. My thyroid gland balances my metabolism perfectly. Soon I will no longer need any medicine for my thyroid. My shoulders, arms, and hands are well and strong. All parts of my chest function perfectly. My lungs are breathing the oxygen and carrying it to all parts of my body and brain. With each breath in, I breathe in strength and vitality. With each breath out, I blow out the weaknesses that hold me back.
My heart is normal, calm, and very strong. All parts of my body and brain are functioning as they should. All my body and brain chemistry is perfectly balanced and normal, and my small stomach pouch digests food with ease as it should. For every day and every way every function of my body and brain is in harmony and balance with the Word of God, in Jesus’ Name.
I have most positive self-esteem! I simply find myself feeling better with each and every passing day. I am a child of God. I have a right to be here and the right to have and maintain a strong, healthy and attractive mind, body, soul and spirit – a right, I now claim!
I focus on my present and future goals and live each moment as a special part of my existence. I spend my time and effort on things that really matter to me, things in the “now” and in the future, things to plan for and always listening to the Voice of the Lord within me, counseling me on what I am to do each day for the Glory of Abba, Father, as a Servant or our Lord, Jesus. I take responsibility for my actions, being focused on my goals, being present and aware of my interactions with others and I utilize my time on things that matter.
The power of the positive affirmations in my life grows stronger and stronger and become more effective in the proper time and in the proper order. Some of these positive affirmations become effective immediately. Others lie dormant in my mind – in my subconscious for a period of time only to spring forth later – much like a plant pushing forth through the soil. They grow stronger and stronger. They change me from within for that means permanent change. For even with the very first playing, I am drawn to replay my tape over and over again and my subconscious thirstily responds positively making positive changes in my body and in my life!
Every time I play this tape, I gain health, peace of mind, love, joy, acceptance, compassion for others, and self-confidence and humor. I am of good cheer! For the playing, hearing, and speaking forth the messages on this tape strengthens my determination, develops my desire and will-power, and most of all it will increases my self-control and allows me to do with great success the Perfect Will of Abba, Father, with freedom, confidence, enthusiasm, humor, and joy.
From this day forward I eat nourishing foods, exercise, get sufficient sleep, drink 96 oz. of water, regularly exercise my brain with new things, daily consume all the vitamins, minerals, and supplements such as fish oil, coconut oil, and calcium citrate, and tangibly plan my day and my future events and happenings, for the health and integrity of my mind, body, thyroid, brain, soul and spirit as I do the Perfect Will of Abba, Father. I do plan to live to be 150 years young, fully alive, fully alert, fully active, and energetically pursuing whatever the Lord wants me to do – from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or swimming the English Channel, but always praying and doing the Perfect Will of Abba, Father as a servant of our Lord, Jesus, praying all the lost souls home. I am a winner!
I play my tape daily and speak forth my positive affirmations. I become more and more aware of the positive affirmations and the impact they have upon my body and my life. Only water satisfies my thirst.
I feel physically stronger and fitter in every way. With each breath in, I just breathe in strength and vitality. With each breath out, I blow out the weaknesses that hold me back. Day by day I feel more in control of my life. I develop my own goals and focus my energy on them. I know deep down what makes me happy, where I belong. I have the strength to follow through with my dreams as a Servant of our Lord, Jesus, always doing the Perfect Will of Abba, Father.
I expect to succeed at whatever I set out to do and I see myself succeeding before my effort. I visualize myself doing my future effort and I program myself for success. I can see myself climbing Mount Kilimanjaro as well as swimming the English Channel, if that is what it takes to save just one more soul for our Lord, Jesus! Yes! I do. I can see myself doing this. I really and truthfully can and will. I program myself for success.
I am a more informed person. When I have questions I ask them. I am always on the lookout for new and different information. I prepare for my tasks, setting myself up to win, instead of putting off my tasks and setting myself up to fail. Organization is becoming more second nature to me. I realize that when I put something in its right place initially, I’m more likely to find it when I need it.
Making decisions is no longer a mystery to me. I am first clear with myself about what is actually to be decided, gather adequate information on it, and talk to those affected by the decision to get their input, visualize my options and really see them, and then decide on the thing based on the goals I have for myself. Does what I am planning to do line up with where I want to be and with what I want to do? I am thus able to take reasonable risks, while being able to avoid taking risks that are dangerous for me.
Every day I strive to be alert, more wide awake, more energetic. I am able to look at common things in uncommon ways such as making a tape recording of my own positive affirmations or of making a self-hypnosis tape of my positive affirmations. I act and think more creatively. No longer do I have to solve problems in old ways that have not worked in the past. Creativity is not the prerogative of artists it is part of all humans. I do not have to stay in any rut, unless I choose to stay in it. Day by day I am also more flexible, more adaptable, more willing to change as change is needed. At the same time, I am more disciplined, less impulsive. I keep the words, “Thinking is Trial Action,” in the front of my brain, and refer to this sentence every time I wish to do something that may not be in my best interest.
I realize now that I am a product of my environment. If my environment is negative, so am I and yes it was and so was I but it was a long ago and long gone. I look upon those old times and situations with pity and love for all involved and welcome into my heart all those who harmed me in any manner, shape, or form. I ask Abba, Father, to accept my prayers of forgiveness and to forgive each of them as well, and blessing each of them with His Mercy and His Grace, abundantly providing for each of them a Moment of Clarity lifting each of them out of Impossible Situations which have kept them hamstrung and unable to take positive actions to be free in the Lord!
I teach others by my actions, that they need to treat me with respect, and in return, I treat them as I wish to be treated. I also spend time with those who uplift me and believe in me. I surround myself with positive people. On the same note, I focus my energy on being more empathetic with those around me. I am able to get outside of myself to understand the feelings of others and I willingly see things from their perspective as well as from my own. I listen to others. I truly listen. This action makes them feel good! No longer am I afraid of competing with others. It is great when I win but I can learn new things from any situation. Competition spurs me on to be the best I can be.
With ever increasing frequency, I accept myself and others as we are, instead of how I think things should be or how I think “they” should be or act. I compromise when necessary. I am in control of me and only me. I live, always listening to the small voice within me, providing me council to do the Perfect Will of Abba, Father. Every day I find myself more and more successful in overcoming procrastination that holds me back. I never give up on myself.
