Well guys, I had ny surgery and it went off without a hitch. I have had no complications so far but I am having trouble getting ANYTHING in. I have been nauseous most days but not throwing up. I am yet struggling, but I am not gonna give up. The good news is I AM OFF MY INSULIN PUMP!!! Yay!!! I got offf of insulin the night I was discharged from the hospital. I thank God I chose Dr, Chasen for my Doctor. A fine surgeon who cares for his patients..I will do this in order to survive. So please keep me in your prayers. Any support is welcomed!!

Well, my ACTUAL surgery date is March 14th. I am anxious, nervous, scared, and happy all at the same time. This has been a difficult process for me but I know this life-changing event will be a blessing. I will attempt to keep you posted and my angel will be updating info as well.

Yay me!!!!! I am approved by my insurance AND I have a date for February 18!!!!! I am excited but yet nervous. I am already sampling vitamins and shakes and collecting recipes. I have to see the psychologist, nutritionist, and get my EGD done on monday, Jan 31. Battling a nasty cold right now and feeling miserable. Please keep me in your prayers!!!!

Well, I had to reschedule my appointments from yesterday due to the bad weather. This was THREE appointments ( the nutritionist, the psychologist, AND the EGD).So, now they  are scheduled for the 31st of Jan. This WAS my tenative surgery date and everything was on track except for some insurance paperwork. So, another date will have to be scheduled. I am a little disappointed but I know things happen for a reason. Keep me in your prayers!!
