WENT TO SEE MY SURGEON
Sep 01, 2008
Went on the 27 of Aug. to see my surgeon, and I have lost one lb since Feb. 2008, I will take it. My blood pressure was 98/60 which is great.
I do ALOT of gazing and I need to get away from that so very badly.
Our daughter had her surgery on Aug 31 2007 and she is down to 129. She is doing great, she is going to school and working and trying to keep her house in order, so she has a full plate as well.
I need to post more on my November board. I need the support of my Nov buddies so very badly.
I have our good Lord on my side and he keeps me in check one way or the other.
YET ANOTHER SURGERY
May 06, 2008
Well on April 22, 2008 I had a hysterectomy, no fun hun, thank my good Lord every thing turned out alright. The doctor said she was going to give me any overhaul and that she did, I had a prolapsed uterus and a fallen bladder, oh can I ever pee now, how sweet it is.
My daughter had RYN in August of 2007 and she is now doing wonderful, she is down 92 lbs and is almost caught me. We are both fighting the carb monster, but we would do it again tomorrow, RYN has saved our lives.
I encourage all to go to a support meeting, they are the best, the other gals that have been where we are about to go can fill us in with alot of things that we never even dreamed about, so if you have on in your area please go you will love them.
HAD GALLBLADDER SURGERY
Nov 30, 2007
I went into the hospital weighing 139 and came out weighing 143, from all the fluids I assume and I have managed to get in a BIG 300 calories a day for the last few days, just not hungry, try to get in my water though and protein drinks, I have to have food with my pain med's or I get sick. but soon as I turn myself back around again I should be back on track.
Our daughter is doing great since she had her stricture taken care of. She is just two month out and has lost 60 lbs due to her stricture I assume, because she could not eat or drink anything and they found mega amount of pills that were stuck, she is doind well now though and on her journey right along with me.
OUR DAUGHTER IS DOING GREAT
Nov 24, 2007
Our daughter is doing so very well after her WLS. She did have a stricture about a week ago and the surgeion went down and opened it up and found about 12 to 14 pills blocking the way, having done that she is doing so very much better now, thank our good Lord.
I have had a pretty good journey so far. I have not dumped and please dont want too. I have been stuck for months at one weight and thought the scales would never move, well they moved today and I am down to 139lbs, whoo for me. I am scared to gain this weight back again and do not want to. I do need ps but that can wait, I mean who in their right mind would not want to have ps, not because it makes you look better (hopefully) but because you will me a tad smaller and things will be back where they are suppose to be.
I have met so many new friends here on OH and they have been with me every step of the way. I do not know what I would do without the friends that I have here and in my support group. Thank you to one and all.
I have losts poundage and inches and I have gained friends, and can walk and talk at the same time walking up the hill to my job. I can bend over and squat down, get on the floor and back up with out calling for biggie crane service to get me up, I can get up all by myself now. It is the little things that count the most to me, like my grand son saying "you could not do that before grandma" I always said "I can still catch you, no matter how big or little I am" would be a challenge but I would get it done just to prove to him that I could.
DAUGHTER HAD RNY
Aug 31, 2007
Her one and only son was with her and this made her feel even better, that this sixteen year old would leave his skate board long enough to be with his Mom.
BACK ON TRACK
Aug 12, 2007
My daughter has been appoved for RNY so now she just has to get a date and she is on her way, can not wait for her, she will be so very pleased with herself and she will get rid of all her aches and pains.
She was one of the unlucky one's that worked here at Dell and lost her job when they came in and told everyone out in 30 minutes we are shutting down. How very sad for these 200+ people to be told in that way.
I would have this surgery again, and I would love it and pray that all who want it and need it are blessed with getting it done.
I had my surgery done in Nov of 2006 and have lost 102lbs and I would like to lose another 15 (our good Lord willing) and then I will be really happy. I still have my back pain, but NOTHING like before, I can bend over and tie my shoes without huffing and puffing. I can walk and talk at the same time and it is just wonderful.
BEEN A WHILE
Mar 29, 2007
I am pleased with my weight lose, but even more pleased that my back and feet do not hurt like they used too before surgery, the pain is still there but not like it was, and believe me if your back hurts you hurt all over.
My daughter is trying to have this surgery and she is jumping though the hoops now, I pray that she gets it because I know that she will feel so very much better about herself.
I have met alot of people on this site that have become my friends and what would we ever do without each other.
Well every body keep up the good work. I have lost as of date 66 big ones and I have proably another 48 to 50 to get to goal. So lets all sit back and enjoy the ride, and lets not try to thing about our many stalls.
