"I was happy when I found out that Dr. Halmi was going to be my surgeon. He was the first doctor that I met at the practice, and I liked him right away.
Yesterday was my surgery. Dr. Halmi came in to speak to my boyfriend and I before the surgery and answered all of our questions. He was very reassuring. Sometime before the surgery he came and spoke to my boyfriend again and then again after the surgery.
I had asked him if I could leave the same day and he allowed it. Evidently, it isn't the norm for the hospital where I was. I appreciated that he did that.
The bariatric program between his practice and Potomac hospital are quite close. I find that reassuring. Everyone involved seems so well informed and kind. I feel as though I hit the jackpot having chosen this group, this surgeon, and this hospital."
