CJF.....just wanted you to know that I was checking on you today, and look forward to hearing positive stories as you go down the WLS path. Good luck, and God bless your recovery. I will have you in my prayers.

Hi gang...got an update on CJF...visited her from 3 to 9 tonight. What a change for the better...She's so much more active and I can complete sentences with her without her zoning out due to meds(lol). The tubes are out except for IV and PCA. I did the Lovenox thing with her tonight and she's up and about walking the aisles. So nice to see. Brought Lady Luck home with me, she'll return Sunday night to spend the night again. Thanks for all the support. Vince

I spent the day with CJF, she went from sleeping 4 minutes out of 5 to 2 out of 5. Her pain has normalized and at 6 she was moved into her regular room. Was tired of ICU. Most of the monitors and tubes are gone and her program goes forward tomorrow. I cant stand this surgery pain, I've seen her deal with it many times before and I dread it worst every time. Its for the best I know but never will I get use to it. I left at 9, leaving Lady Luck to spend the night with her. I must return to work tomorrow, but only a short day, my mind will on CJF and will be eager to get back to her. Thanks for all the nice responses, she'll love that. Also thanks to Dawn and Lady Luck for being the Angels that they are. My only frustration is that I can't kiss it and make it better. That will take the course of time. Take Care and good wishes on your own journeys. Vince

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.**Hugs**
