Cindy, Thanks so much for wishing me well on my upcoming rebirth! I hope yours is just around the corner. I too hope that one day after my surgery I walk in the room and my husband says "WOW!" and I just act like that happens to me all the time! ;)

Cindy - did you know if someone asks a question on the board, you can click on their name at the end and it will take you to their surgery page so you can answer? It makes it easier - I rarely use the find peer option - unless the person has not posted recently. Saves tons of time. Write me if yo udon't understand, I will try to explain better.

Cindy, YOu have to have faith in your doctor, that you have the best one around. My sister Maryellen Goss (check out her she was 400 )She did fine, my sister Jan Smolinsky, niece Nicol Hamilton. Have recently had wls surgery. I never worried bcz the obesity will kill you eventually. YOu are catching it now and adding yrs to your life. The first 5 yrs were easy for me. Now i struggle with 30 pounds. I walk malls on weekdays try to eat mostly protein, but i love bread. MY sister Jan was petrafied at surgery. BUt she bit the bullet and is doing great 100lbs off now. She wishes she would of done it yrs sooner. As i do. YOu have to have your blood ckd faithfully rest of your life, you can become anemic. if you need any support please email me. HI CINDY I think its wonderful that you are reaching out to those that have love ones in the service, I know there our many out their. I talk to a gal that had to kiss her huband and son both good bye, She needs your love and support.Maybe you could ask them to e-mail you if they need someone to talk too.Lord Bless
