Its been 1 year already.. I have lost a total of 181#... I can hardly believe it!!!!
I am so proud of myself... I dont really ever remember saying that about myself!  I have more confidence than ever.. more energy and I feel better than ever too!  I can honestly say WLS.. was the best thing I ever did for myself!!!!!! I have about 55 more pounds to get to my personal goal... so lets see what the next year brings for me.

Well I have now lost a total of 173#.. only 62 to go!!!!  I feel great and have finally been going to the gym 4 times a week!!!! The most amazing thing is people really noticing the weight loss and I seem to get a  lot of postive comments..  I dont regret having surgery.. I only wish I wouldnt of waited the 5 years to make up my mind...

Well.. Ive lost 13 # this month.. This is the thinnest I've been in many many years.. I am finally into a size 18 pant.. smaller on top.. I think I will treat myself to a little shopping trip next weekend.. I need some smaller things...
Its seems like all of a sudden.. people noticed I've lost wt... It only took 159# lost to notice...LOL..

Its a new year.. I have now lost 147#... I  am having trouble with seeing what the rest of the world sees... I havent seen my sister since new years.  she lives in another state and I saw her this past weekend.. she was oohing and aweing.. and I said I dont really see it!!!! She said she wishes I could see me the way the rest of the world does... I just keep saying I am a work in progress... I wonder if other people have this issue??? Maybe its because I am losing at such a slow steady rate??? Im not sure..

Well, its been 6 months.. I had my checkup.. The Doctor said I was doing fantastic!!! I have lost 123# He did all the calculations.. BMI etc.. and I have loss half of the excess weight I have.. He actually gave my hand a little squeeze and said If I didnt lose 1 more pound he would be totally proud of my surgical outcome!!!!!!. My labs were good!!! and.. for the first time in years I am wearing a size 20.. Yes a size 20(. Pre op I was wearing a size 32.. and some of them were tight!!!!!)and xlg sweater!!! Its amazing!!!!! I am so proud of myself... YOU KNOW.. I as a little aprehensive about going for this appt.. I have this fear.. from previous years of being scolded for gaining .. I thought the Dr. might say.. you should of lost this much by now.. your way behind the normal!!!! I am working on my self esteem still!!!!

I am 5 months post op.. I have lost 107#!! I cant believe it.. sometimes.. I think I am having a mirage...LOL... I feel really good..Lots of evergy.. I dont regret having surgery for 1 minute.. I think my family has a harder time adapting to the new me ... then I do! My husband keeps reminding me of how much I have changed, I can tell he doesnt like it.. I think he misses the old me with no self esteem, no pride, and voice of opinion! WEll.. I hate to say it but the new me is here.. and here to stay!

WEll... its been 3 months now.. I am down 77#'s. I feel fantastic.. This past weekend My hubby and I went on a little mini vacation. I actually wore a bathing suit.. and went swimming and in the hot tub!!! It felt so fantastic. I came home feeling like a new WOMAN. I also got to do a little shopping.. found some great thrift stores with some good clearance racks... pre surgery I was a tight size 30/32 and now I bought 22/24.. I cant believe what a difference...

WELL.. I Am at 2 months post op.. I have lost 56#! I am now losing about 3# a week! Is that normal... should it be more.. I just dont know! I try not to stress about it.. and I keep telling myself.. at least your losing and not gaining or staying the same right! Is there anyone else out there thinking the same thing??? I walk.. eat healthy.. dring alot of water.. There isnt much else I can do. I have lost a few sizes of clothing and that feels great! I guess I didnt gain wt overnite so I cant expect to lose it overnite either!

I had my 6 week checkup, I have lost 45#. Dr. K said I am ahead of schedule.. I am at 11% loss.. and usually by 3 months he likes to see a 15% loss.. so I am proud of that. I am feeling really good.. starting to eat soft foods.. so geat to not do pureed. People are starting to notice a weight loss.. I am not really seeing that much at this point.. but I guess I dont see myself as others do.

Well.. I seem to be having a hard time getting all the water in! I 've never had this happen but I have absolutely no appetite.. nothing sounds good.. I seem to be spending all day trying to get in protein and water.. Hope this passes.. I went on a little outing yesterday.. Man that really wiped me out.. today I dont feel like doing anything.. I guess this to will pass.. hope I'm not alone with this??? Tomorrow will be better! Good news.. my incision is healing well except for a sm area around my belly button.. I guess I have to look for the little things???
