I've not been feeling to good for the last few days, have coughing and phelgm coming up. I think its my asthma or sacorid acting up but not having trouble breathing. I just pray I'm not getting sick with less than two weeks to surgery. The weather has really been hot and humid but then today it wasn't to bad, so maybe that's what is making feel like this.

Yesterday I bought me a new set of WW scales for when I start my new life. My old ones weigh me 3 lbs more and with the new ones they are the right weight plus its it doesn't just give me just whole numbers.

Okay let the stress start to melt away lol. I'll be having my surgery on Sept 29th.

I've been stressed out for the last few days with trying to figure out who is going to do this and that. I hate that I don't have any friends around here where I live that I can count on. I did have a family member who lives in another state that was going to come and stay a few days and then she wanted me to postpone my surgery if it was going to be the week of the 22nd of this month because she had something else she wanted to do and I'm like if they tell me I can get it done then I'm not going to say no. So then I felt like I'm a burden on everybody because my two boys are all that I really have as family besides an Aunt. One son lives here in Wilmington and another one in Statesville and they both have hard time getting off work but I think they will both be here the day of surgery. Well after I was so upset over wondering if I was even going to have anyone to help me out for a few days, I get a phone call from a friend in Florida who said that she or her Mom would come and stay with me and then my daughter-in-laws Mother said she would come and spend a couple days with me and all I can say is thank God for friends. Well my friend Yvonne in Florida is going to come and spend a couple of weeks so I'm thankful for that. I truely believe in the saying "Friends are family you choose for yourself".

Went for my 3rd doctor appt today with Dr. Miles and everything is a go for surgery. They were looking at Sept 22 but now because of changing when they put filters in, I might have to wait because now you have to have the filter in a week before your surgery instead of the day before. Helen the nurse is suppose to be finding out for me next week when I can get it done and she's still hoping for Sept. I'm ready and waiting!

I just got a phone call from Dr. Miles office today to set me up for my 3rd doctor visit on Sept 5th and I'm so excited. I'm not sure how long after that it will be before the surgery. Can't weight to be on the losing side.
 

Well I made it back from the cruise and actually have lost 6 lbs. I've got so many doctor appts set up its unreal, but like a friend said at least they are making sure I'm going to be alright for surgery. I was told I would have to have a filter put it because I have a history of a blood clot. We are shooting for September for the surgery.

So far I've been to see the nutritionist and psychologist. I was told I need to lose 15 lbs before I can have the surgery done. The nutritionist gave me a diet to go by but so far I've not done very well on it. I'm going on a cruise in a couple days and scared I'm going to over do it on the food.
