Hi! My name is Stephanie. Im 31, born and raised in Texas. I weigh 371 lbs and my BMI is 63.7. I am considered super obese. Writting all that makes me want to cry. I have been on every diet you can imagine since I was very young. Including those programs which celebrities make so popular and seem so easy. I have always been heavy, my whole life. I came into this world a 'fattie'. I never had a shot at being thin, in any way shape or form. I had pretty much given up on being smaller and healthier for such a long time. I figured it was a lost cause. When I was 25 I was seeking for my insurance company to pay for it. I was about the same size I am now. I was denied, then my coverage ran smooth out. I was crushed. But here I am six years later, giving it another go. I do not have insurance, so I will be paying for my surgery out right. A surgery I will only have if I can get a loan for it. I have all my fingers and toes crossed. I really want this surgery. With the help of my family, I am hopeing to make my dream come true. To be a better, thinner and above all else healthier me. I dont have any health problems aside from sleep apnea and a slightly elavated cholesterol, no thyroid or diabetes, I consider myself lucky so far. But without weightloss... my heart will become weaker, with age I am almost positive I will become diabetic along with countless other possibilities. Im pretty much scared for my life. Im scared it will be over before it should be. I want to live a healthy, happy life. Im not a healthy weight and how could I be happy when Im so heavy. As stupid as it sounds, society makes me feel like a mutant about 75% of the time because Im so obese. It hurts when people stare, say things when they think your not listening or in actuality dont even look at you at all... Im a wonderful person with a shining personality, alot of people cant see that because its surrounded by FAT. Some people say 'well if they dont look at you now, you dont want them to look at you later when you lose weight'. This may be true, but all in all... above anything else in the world... I want to look at ME and be proud. Not ashamed. I want to look how I feel inside. Beautiful.
