Hello Everyone! I am Crystal, 27 years old. I am happily married to the best man on this planet (Sorry Ladies, he's mine), and we have a wonderful 4 year old boy! He's the greatest. My son, is my reason for my journey here with WLS. I've been told many times by different Physicians, that if I don't do something about my weight, I may not see my baby grow up? What a terrible thought to concive? I am currently weighing around 260-270, at 5'6". I know I am a candiate for surgery. I'm interested in the "Gastric Sleeve". I've heard many wonderful things about Dr. Hargroder. I'm anxiously awaiting to schedule my first meeting with him this Monday! I am very interested in hearing anyone's pros and cons about this procedure. So far I've only heard great things! I hope after, all goes well, my husband and I can extend our family with a few more kiddo's! Having my son is one of the best things to happen to me, I can only dream right now of sharing that love with another baby. We've been trying to get preg., since our miscarraige in April of 2007. My OB said, again, if I don't loose the weight, I will struggle trying to get preg. So yet another Pro, of getting the procedure done! I actually can't wait for Monday to call the DR. office and set up my first appt.! THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEGINING TO A NEW ME!
