Happy Surgiversary! Thank you for contributing to the board through the year. The sharing of knowledge by "graduates" has definitely eased my journey. It is appreciated. From a fellow Dr. A patient ~Michelle (MV)

PRAISE THE LORD! Amy is out of the hospital and resting at a nearby hotel. She still has a drain tube in place, but it should come out in about 5 days. THANKS to all of you for your courage to have gone through this before her and to have shared your experiences.

HOORAY!!!!! I just got a phone call from Amy's husband. She is in recovery and came through the surgery just great. Dr. Aguirre said everything went perfectly, and that her gallbladder was even in such good shape that he could leave it in. THANK YOU ALL for your prayers and encouragement. Move over "Losers" because another Loser is coming on board. :o) !!!

Just want to let all of you know that your prayers and encouragement are GREATLY appreciated. Amy called from Ensenada, Mexico tonight. She and her husband have met with Dr. Aguirre and they are both very impressed. He did a physical exam and declared her ready to go! She got to talk with one of his patients who just had surgery this morning. She was feeling okay and seemed very happy with her choice. Her twin sister was at her side who had surgery last May and has lost 110 pounds. This was just the "foretaste" that Amy needed. She is ready for starting her new life. I am "The Bank of Mom" but it is ALL OF YOU MEMBERS of ObesityHelp.com that made this day possible. Your willingness to share information, both good and bad, has been the turning point in her decision. May God bless each and every one of you! Blessings to you all on Feb. 8th! Please keep the prayers coming! Love, "Mom"
