Hi Lasonya, Welcome to the AMOS Family. I know that for me making the decision was the hardest part. I am 38 years old and a mother of 2 wonderful girls ages 11 & 13. My husbacd past away 8 years ago and I am all they have. Of course when you are considering surgery, you must take everything into consideration the good and the bad. I had my Lap RNY on July 30th I am 8 wks out and have lost 50#. This is the best decision that I have ever made for myself. I am hoping by summer I will be able to fit into a rollercoaster so that my girls and I can ride till we drop. CONGRATS on making this decision, I promise that it will change your life. Get lots of support. This site has been a lifesaver for me. We can't do this alone. GOD BLESS!!!! nicole

Hello LaSonay - Welcome to the "site" ...I think you'll find it to be a wonderful help in the next few weeks, months, longer? It made it so much easier on me to make the decisions I did by drawing knowledge from others who had actually walked the path I was taking. <b>CONGRATULATIONS</b> on your decision to have the surgery. I had mine 8 months ago and it's the best thing I could have ever done for myself. (I'm down 150 pounds, 50 more to goal).
