Stable at 230

Well, I've lost a total of 240 lbs from my highest weight of 470lbs. I feel pretty great. Getting a couple of Plastic surgery consults in the next couple of weeks. I think i wanna have my arms and chest done first but am open to doing the lower body lift first if the surgeons think I should. I was sick a ton over the last year and a half so I guess my immune system was in bad shape for a while. Had 5 bouts with kidney stones in about a year. No fun at all. I would like to drop maybe ten more pounds before skin removal but my bypass surgeon says I don't really need to. Probably have around 12-15 lbs of loose skin so if I get down to 220 before surgery I could end up about 205 which is pretty perfect for a 6ft 4 guy. The weight loss was really fairly easy. I eat pretty much what I want to now but just not a lot of anything. I can eat a 6 ounce steak and a small salad on good days so I feel good about that. Some days I can probably eat 10 ounces of food at a time and other days maybe only 3 ounces. Don't know what thats about but my doc says it probably has to do with stomach acid. I look pretty good with clothes on but oh boy is it scary without my shirt. lol. I really look forward to getting a rejuvenated body after plastic surgery. I have taken 20 mgs of Prilosec every day since my surgery just as a maintenence thing my doc recommended. I had to cut out my calcium supplements because of the kidney stones. I switched to gummy vitamins 6 months after the surgery and they are a godsend. The celebrate stuff got old really quick and started to make me nauseous so I was having trouble taking them. DONT stop taking your b-complex. I stopped and then ended up really low in Thiamine. I started back right away with a pill form and everythings good now. The only foods I can't really tolerate now are Dairy (other than cheese), pasta, and rice. Life is pretty good.
