Been a long time since an update so,,,

Here I am 5 months post op,

Interesting stats,

Waist, was 44",,, now 34"
Jacket - shirt size, was a XXlarge (54") now a LARGE (42")
Weight, heaviest, 311, day of surgery 305, now 215.1

Benefits from surgery,,,,, too many to list, but it seems type 2 diabetes is going away, all meds stopped, except for lantus, which now is a shot every three or for days, VS, lantus twice a day, humilog at every meal, glucophauge, diabeta, and too many other meds to remember pre surgeory.

Problems from surgeory,, well, only one, recently having problems with kidney stones,, I will deal with it.
                                                Well two problems,,, I have to buy new clothes,, I had kept all my old jeans from previous weight     loss, but now I need new 34" waist jeans,, I MOST CERTAINLY CAN DEAL WITH THIS "PROBLEM"

In short,, any regrets,, yes, that I didn't do this earlier in my life, would I recommend RNY for everyone,, well for me it is the answer to a life time of losing and regaining weight,, it is an individual decision,, but yes.
